Actually,the graffiti is a talent indeed if they show the talent in the right place. But, if the graffiti is shown in the any place like in these walls, it will make the city an unpleasant place.
To the Mayor please give the graffiti maker a place to show their talent to the public. Thank you for your attention.

Pondok Es Teller (Teller Ice Stall)

This picture was taken on Jalan Jeranding on 14 May 2009 at 1.10 p.m. Literally “Pondok Es Teller” means “Teller Ice Stall”. Maybe the seller is a teller machine or a person who is also a teller. Hahaha….

Kakap Bangkit (=Snapper Fish Rising from the Dead)

The signboard is very strange. “Kakap Bangkit” can mean Kakap (=”a name of a place in Pontianak, West Kalimantan” or “a Snapper fish”) Rising. It is very funny because in Malay language “bangkit” can also mean “rise from the dead”. So it can mean “a Snapper fish that rise from the dead”. Hahaha…

Warehouse Washing Shoes

Take a look at the sign. It says “Sepatu Cuci Gudang” (=Warehouse Washing Shoes)

Maybe a lot of people will consider it strange if they read the sign. This sign can be found on Ahmad Yani street. I took the picture on Saturday, 9th May 2009.

Check out the signboard. “Abang Kepiting” (=Brother Crab) is a funny name for a food stall. LOL! Maybe because the seller is a crab. Hehehe…

Misspeling on the Signboard

Look at this signboard. There is a spelling mistake. It is written her “DIKONTRAKAN”, it is supposed to be “DIKONTRAKKAN”. Please double the letter “K”. This picture was taken on 12 May 2009 at 11.23 a.m. on Jl K.S. Tubun.

Spelling Mistakes on the Signboard

These faulty signboards can be found on Jl. Sultan Abdurahman, near my school (Saint Mary Vocational High School). The signs read that “tambal ban tubles”, it should be “tambal ban tubeless” (=tubeless tire patching). And “velk”, that is not right, it should be “velg” (=rim). And one more, “Seken”. That’s very sick. This word should be “Second”.

This speaker is very unique and very practical and we can bring it anywhere we want. This speaker is rechargeable and very small. However the output is very powerful. The bass is also powerful. I like this speaker because it is unique and transparent.

Unique Signboard

This picture was taken at Sultan Abdurahman Street on 11 May 2009 at 6 a.m. If we see at a glance, maybe we can’t realize there is strange with the plank. But if we really see it, we can see the words on the plank are unique. It’s printed “Daun Music Studio”, but exactly below it we can see a list of menu which they sell in that studio. Maybe most people understand the meaning, but certainly, it is confusing for some.
When I see this plank at first, I think the man want to economize the board, so that the all of the words are combined in one board.
The name of the menu is unique too; “Ayam Goreng Click” (Click Fried Chicken), “Ayam Bakar Click” (Click Roasted Chicken), “Rujak Ice Krim” (Fruit Salad Ice Cream). They even misspell “ice cream”, They spell it “ice krim”
